SIZING CHART AND MEASUREMENTS PROCESS

Sizing chart standards vary between continents. That is why we have made the choice, for obvious practical reasons, to use sizes in real measurement. It is therefore necessary that you take some measures before ordering your items. Do not panic, all you need is a seamstress tape. Follow ths document step by step to take good measurements in order to choose your size. If you do not have a seamstress tape at your disposal you can use a piece of unstretchable rope.

Warning: For our line of cloths you will certainly see sizes (S, M, L, etc.) in the drop-down menu on the right. Do not make your choice according to this size but rather according to the real measurement that is attached with it.

1/ Head circumference

Measure around your head where a hat would rest in the middle of the forehead and at the back bump of the skull, normally 1 to 2 cm (0.4 to 0.8 inches) above the eyebrows and ears.

2/ Shoulder width

Hold your arms straight along the body and ideally have someone to help you measure the distance between the two shoulder by following the curve of the back at the level of the neck (bone to bone).

3/ Chest circumference

Stand upright and pass the tape around your chest and above the nipples (pass the tape under the armpits and shoulder blades around your back) after exhaling normally.

4/ Waist size

Place the tape around your bare belly just above the upper hip bone. Start at the top of your hip bone and then wear the tape measure around your navel. Make sure it is not too tight and that it is straight in your back.

5/ Hips circumference

To measure the hips circumference, stand upright and have someone help you take the measurement at the largest part of your pelvis (usually at the level of the buttocks).

Wrist circumference

Wrap your wrist with the tape without overtightening (ideally slide a finger under the tape).

Length of the middle finger

The tape is not practical for this exercise, if you can use a metric ruler. Spread all the fingers of your hand and measure your middle finger from its base to the top.

6/ Calf circumference

To take measurement you must be seated. Put your foot flat, bend your knee 90 degrees. Surround the tape on the widest part of your calf.
